Turning organic waste into living value.
We recover organic waste and transform it into sustainable protein and organic fertilizer through the natural power of Black Soldier Fly larvae — building a circular, climate-resilient food system for Africa.
A broken loop between waste and food.
Every day, organic waste is buried while farmers pay more for imported feed. Xa Nene closes that gap.
Waste to landfill
Large volumes of organic waste end up in landfills instead of being recovered.
GHG emissions
Decomposing organic waste releases methane and other greenhouse gases.
Rising feed costs
Livestock and aquaculture producers face rising production costs.
Import dependence
Heavy reliance on imported feed ingredients strains local economies.
Limited inputs
Farmers have limited access to affordable, sustainable agricultural inputs.
Demand for green
Growing demand for environmentally responsible farming solutions.
One insect. A whole circular economy.
The Black Soldier Fly larva is one of nature's most efficient recyclers. In days, it converts organic waste into high-quality protein and nutrient-rich fertilizer — with a fraction of the land, water and emissions of conventional inputs.
- Recovers organic waste that would otherwise be landfilled.
- Produces sustainable protein for animal nutrition.
- Returns nutrients to the soil as organic frass fertilizer.
